Job Description - Director of Patient Programs

Reporting into the Vice President of NavieGo Patient Programs, the Program Director will be an instrumental part in leading universal program best practices while providing strategic and operational oversight for a portfolio of NavieGo’s patient support programs with the intention of driving operational excellence.
You will be part of a rapidly growing business where you will be leveraging your ability to collaborate and obtain buy in with all stakeholders in order to achieve operational integration across all areas of the business.

Your Mission:   


The Program Director will be an instrumental part in leading universal program best practices while providing strategic and operational oversight for a portfolio of NavieGo’s patient support programs with the intention of driving operational excellence. You will be part of a rapidly growing business where you will be leveraging your ability to collaborate and obtain buy in with all stakeholders in order to achieve operational integration across all areas of the business.  


What You Bring to the Table:   



  • Education: Business, administration, or relevant healthcare degree;

  • Experience:  5 – 7 years proven experience and leadership in patient support programs, leading business change initiatives and building/improving operational processes;

  • Relatable patient support program experience in Oncology;

  • Takes a proactive approach to obtain and improve program insights, and brings strategic insights and competitive advantage to the program and to internal teams;

  • Demonstrates leadership through actions, able to solicit buy in and inspire a team;

  • Provides ownership on partner account management, provides consistent value and strategic insights to partners;

  • Develops and mentors leaders and supports learning/development for all colleagues;

  • Overall accountability for strategic direction, operational processes, program efficiency and financial performance of portfolio;

  • Takes leadership to manage priorities, stakeholder urgencies and emergency response planning;

  • Facilitates the interdisciplinary team development to improve operational results and the patient experience;

  • Responsible for a portfolio of patient support programs, multiple partners, ensuring operational excellence (high quality performance and service delivery);

  • Accountable for execution of operational/strategic projects within NavieGo or across BioScript;

  • Achieves company goals through implementation of strategy and tactics across the portfolio;

  • Responsible for establishing, growing and maintaining long term client partnerships;

  • Collaborates with other business leaders to look for seamless integration opportunities between different business units (NavieGo, A&D, Coverdale and BioScript Pharmacy);

  • Monitors the pharmaceutical landscape for changes and insights applicable to the business;

  • Provides forward thinking innovations and ideas for change;

Compensation: At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
