What can you expect:


We are looking for a visionary Director of Product to lead a high-performing team of product managers and user experience designers. You will play a crucial role in championing Amilia's culture and driving operational excellence within our product development teams. Your comprehensive understanding of our product will guide important investment decisions to meet market needs and align with company objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality and market value of our product, as well as coordinating product management activities across departments to optimize the value of our product innovations.



You'll be responsible for:



Synchronize Product Activities Across Departments


  • Funnel inbound market problems and new ideas from the insight management tool.
  • Maintain cross-departmental alignment of short to mid-term roadmaps.
  • Refine, communicate, and promote processes.
  • Collaborate with product marketing on launch activities.
  • Support front-line employees in business problem research and communication of ongoing and planned investments.
  • Provide Product Managers with visibility on business objectives, time-sensitive, and committed investments.

Team Leadership, Development, and Best Practices


  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and related roles.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and improvement.
  • Equip the team with necessary skills and resources to succeed.
  • Advocate and maintain a transparent process supporting the product lifecycle.
  • Curate, organize, and promote skill development learning paths for the team.
  • Nurture a team passionate about their craft.
  • Suggest and guide experiments with different approaches and practices.
  • Consume and share books, training, and articles about modern industry practices.

Product Research & Operations


  • Analyze data in specialized tools to identify trends, opportunities for investments, and validate hypotheses.
  • Support product managers in discovering new complex business problems.
  • Measure and report on the success and quality of product initiatives.



What we want from you:


  • 8+ years in the software industry with 5+ years in SaaS products
  • 5+ years in product management
  • 5+ years managing teams
  • Trained in Scrum, Lean, and Pragmatic Marketing
  • Fluent in user experience design principles
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Adaptable to change with strong leadership and people skills
  • Committed to continuous improvement and professional development
  • Proven track record of successful product delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
