  • Lead the evolution and operational stewardship of the SimCorp platform, balancing platform stability, modernization, risk management, and long-term sustainability.

  • Drive agile delivery across the platform portfolio, with accountability for solution quality, resiliency, operational readiness, and technology lifecycle management.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with SimCorp and other technology partners to drive accountability, value realization, and alignment with CPP Investments' evolving needs.

  • Engage senior business and technology stakeholders to communicate priorities, risks, trade-offs, and outcomes.

  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance, ensuring technology decisions are informed by sound engineering judgement, thoughtful trade-off analysis, and systems thinking.

  • Drive interoperability through alignment with enterprise architecture, enterprise data products, and modern integration patterns.

  • Champion engineering excellence and continuous improvement across Product Craftsmanship, Product Reliability, Product Experience, Team Experience, and platform operations.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and ownership.

  • Recruit, retain, and develop top technology talent while creating an environment where team members are empowered to challenge assumptions, contribute ideas, and solve complex problems.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

  • 10+ years of relevant technology experience, including progressive leadership responsibility.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire diverse, high-performing teams.

  • Experience supporting complex enterprise platforms within financial services, asset management, pension, capital markets, or related industries.

  • Strong technology leadership, systems thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, with experience making architectural and platform strategy decisions in complex environments.

  • Experience managing strategic vendor relationships and influencing technology roadmaps.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business audiences.

  • Experience with SimCorp Dimension, Investment Accounting, Fund Accounting, Portfolio Accounting, Performance Measurement, or related investment servicing capabilities is considered an asset.

  • CFA, CAIA, or equivalent investment domain knowledge is considered an asset.
