As a Dishwasher at Fairmont Hotels, you play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our culinary department. You are responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary environment by washing dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and back-of-house areas.



Position Type: Permanent

Pay Rate: $19.85/hour

Start Date: June 2025

Job Duties Include:

• Operate dishwashing machines to clean plates, glassware, and utensils.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand where required.
• ​​​​​​​Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, walls, and work surfaces
• Sort and stack clean dishes and return them to proper areas.
• ​​​​​​​Remove trash and recycling from kitchen areas and dispose of it properly
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and storage areas are clean and orderly
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
• Assist cooks/chefs staff as needed with basic food prep or transport of supplies.

Your experience and skills include:

• Physically able to carry out the demands of the position including pushing, pulling, bending, heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
