We’re seeking a passionate, hands-on Distiller to join our production team in Exshaw, Alberta. Surrounded by the Canadian Rockies, this is an opportunity to work with an established Alberta craft distillery and play a key role in producing the high-quality spirits that define the Park Distillery brand.

Distiller

The Distiller will be responsible for day-to-day spirit production, including milling, mashing, fermentation, distillation, maturation, blending, proofing, and quality control. The ideal candidate is technically minded, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing exceptional spirits while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient production environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Execute daily distillery operations, including milling, mashing, fermentation, and distillation
• Monitor and manage fermentation and distillation processes to ensure consistency and quality
• Conduct quality control testing and maintain accurate production and batch records
• Manage spirit maturation, blending, proofing, and bottling
• Operate, clean, and maintain distillery equipment
• Follow and improve standard operating procedures and production systems
• Assist with new product development and recipe refinement
• Monitor raw materials, spirit inventory, and production yields
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production facility
• Follow all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Work collaboratively with the distillery and broader Park Distillery team
• Contribute to a culture of craftsmanship, quality, and continuous improvement

What You Have:

• Previous professional experience in distilling, brewing, fermentation, or spirits production
• Strong understanding of fermentation and distillation principles, with mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment
• Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and genuine passion for the craft spirits process
• Comfortable working independently and within a small, hands-on production team
• Experience with quality control, documentation, and SOPs is an asset; familiarity with Canadian distillery regulations is a plus
• Able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (23 kg), and stand/work on your feet for extended periods
• Able to bend, reach, squat, climb stairs, and move throughout the production facility, performing repetitive physical tasks tied to production, cleaning, and material handling
• Comfortable working safely around heat, steam, water, production equipment, cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures
• Committed to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout shifts
