Lead Quality Excellence across the division by fostering collaboration, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring active leadership engagement. Guarantee compliance with customer quality requirements at all division sites while managing key customer interfaces. Guide Plant Quality Managers in strengthening customer relationships and improving satisfaction metrics, including CRR, surveys, scorecards, and warranty performance. Provide hands-on support at priority sites using structured problem-solving tools (8D, A3, Six Sigma) to identify and resolve issues. Deploy advanced quality tools and processes such as Six Sigma, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Supplier Selection, PPAP, Risk Assessment, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, CAR/DMR, and WISPER. Drive critical quality metrics including Cost of Non-Conformance (CONC), Supplier/Customer DPPM, High Severity Customer Quality Escapes, Manufacturing Yields, and Out-of-Box (OOB) performance. Support training initiatives to build organizational capability, standardize best practices, and strengthen quality expertise across the division. Lead supplier quality development programs to reduce defects, focusing on critical commodities and strategic suppliers, including offshore and direct sources. Bachelor's degree from accredited institution. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future. Master's degree in Quality management. Black Belt certified and ASQ certifications (Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)). Success in this role comes from combining strategic vision with hands-on leadership. You excel at developing, implementing, and sustaining robust processes while leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills using tools like Six Sigma and 8D. Your ability to communicate clearly and persuasively—both verbally and in writing—enables you to influence stakeholders and build trust across a matrix organization, virtual teams, and diverse cultural environments. You think big picture, motivate others toward common goals, and foster collaboration through open, candid relationships. With proven experience in quality systems and product assurance for electrical systems, you drive continuous improvement and performance tracking. Adaptability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally ensure you can lead initiatives wherever they're needed, making you a catalyst for operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
