Job Purpose

As a Downstream Technology Consultant within our Global Manufacturing Excellence Organization, your primary responsibility is to support technology roadmap and deployment programs aimed at maximising technology value across our global manufacturing facilities. You'll engage with stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and develop technology solutions for long-term competitive differentiation.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Global Manufacturing organisations and stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and develop technology deployment programs.
• Build strategic technology engineering partnerships to support pre- and post-deployment activities and accelerate technology deployment.
• Develop technology roadmaps with subject matter experts and corporate organisations, leading portfolio analysis and prioritisation.
• Partner with Downstream and Engineering Services to develop consolidated forecast programs and investment plans.
• Define value hypotheses and validate market-specific use cases and value propositions for targeted technology solutions.
• Support business case development and techno-economic evaluations for technology initiatives.
  
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering (MBA/Finance preferred).
• Experience in technology scouting, research, and development, product development and technology marketing.
• Finance experience in downstream refinery, chemicals, natural gas distribution, or alternative/renewable energy sectors.
• Expertise in the "Strategy-to-Value" technology lifecycle, including R&D, engineering, project development, and business development.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strategic partnerships for technology deployment.
