The 2026-27 faculty grid for this position is $75,461 to $116,035 based on years of experience and a Bachelor of Education. Faculty with a Master's will be paid at a higher range.

Mulgrave School is seeking an exceptional DP Mathematics Teacher to join our vibrant Upper School team. About Us

Mulgrave School is an independent, co-educational IB World School offering the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) in Grades 6–10 and the IB Diploma Programme (DP) in Grades 11–12. While most students pursue the DP, approximately 20% follow an enriched graduation pathway that blends IB and other courses.

Our Upper School (Grades 6–12) is a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative professional community, where innovation is encouraged and student learning and well-being guide everything we do. Teachers know their students well, both inside and outside the classroom, and work collectively to ensure every student feels challenged, supported, and truly known.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach IB DP Math (Applications and/or Analysis SL/HL) in Grades 11-12


• Demonstrate a deep understanding of and passion for Math and Math education


• Connect with and inspire students to outstanding levels of achievement in Math


• Serve as Homeroom Advisor for a group of approximately 12 Senior School students


• Supervise Extended Essays or Personal Projects, as assigned by the Principal


• Promote student well-being while fostering curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning

Required Qualifications

• Canadian residency and legal entitlement to work in Canada


• British Columbia Teacher Certification, or willingness to obtain certification prior to start date


• Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)


• Ability to teach DP Mathematics


• Minimum 5 years’ experience teaching secondary mathematics


• Hold or be willing to obtain an age-appropriate First Aid Certificate

• Enthusiasm for engaging with students beyond the classroom

The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience in accordance with BC labour laws and company policies.
