Drapery worker

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and sew fabric for draperies, curtains, sheers, and valances
  

• Operate industrial sewing machines and other equipment safely and efficiently
  

• Install hardware and drapery systems as needed
  

• Inspect finished products to ensure high quality and accuracy
  

• Work closely with the design and sales team to meet client specifications
  

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  

• Follow health and safety procedures
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in Canada as a drapery worker or in a similar role
  

• Proficient in operating industrial sewing machines and using measuring tools
  

• Strong understanding of fabric types and window treatment construction
  

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow design instructions
  

• Good physical stamina for lifting, cutting, and installation tasks
  

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  

• Knowledge of installation methods is an asset
