We are looking for individuals who have:
At least 2–5 years’ experience operating equipment in an open-pit mining environment.
Experience operating drills such as Epiroc Pit Viper, Epiroc SmartROC, Atlas Copco, Bucyrus, Sandvik, or similar.
Strong understanding of drill patterns, collaring accuracy, depth control, and ground conditions.
Physical capability to perform the requirements of the role safely and effectively, including climbing ladders to equipment, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Willingness and ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts on a 7x7 rotation.
Ability to remain focused and detail-oriented in all weather conditions and throughout all shift hours.
Effective communication skills in English, including written, verbal, and 2-way radio communication.
A strong personal commitment to safety.
Demonstrated reliability and dependability, supported by a strong attendance record.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
First Aid/Mine Rescue Training considered an asset.
As a Driller, you will:
Operate surface drill equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures.
Accurately drill blast holes according to design specifications.
Complete pre-trip inspections, FLHAs, and other reports as required.
Adhere to all applicable policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Identify and report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly.
Communicate clearly and effectively using 2-way radios.
Work collaboratively with team members to safely achieve production targets.
Wages and Benefits
Hourly Rate: From $45.11, based on experience and qualifications
Bonus Pay: Up to $25,000* extra annually through monthly and quarterly bonuses
Paid Vacation and Personal Days: Available after 3 months of employment
