Job Description - Dynamics 365 BC Functional Consultant

About the role:


Actively seeking an experienced and talented full-time Dynamics 365 BC Functional Consultant to join an empowered international consulting services company. This position will assist with Implementations, Ongoing Client Support, and collaboration with fellow team members.


Your day will consist of:



  • Interact daily with clients and be involved in various short- and long-term client projects to implement and support Dynamics 365 BC (cloud and on-premise)

  • Provide training, configuration, support, and documentation expertise on conversions of various ERP software solutions (including Dynamics GP and Dynamics SL) to D365 BC cloud

  • Provide both onsite and offsite consulting services as a functional consultation

  • Proactively identify, analyze, and respond to issues and risks

  • Communicate updates and status to project leadership

  • Foster teamwork through empowerment and maintain an inclusive environment for all team members

  • Travel to client sites, as needed


Here is what it takes to be successful in the role:



  • 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central/ Dynamics NAV

  • Experience working in a consulting firm

  • Ability to meet deadlines utilizing strong organizational habits

  • Possess a professional presence and strong presentation skills suitable for direct client interaction by telephone, video or in-person

  • Ability to work closely with clients to define and document user requirements and functional specifications

  • Experience with modeling business process and translating requirements into a business application

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills targeted to effectively present information

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality, self-motivation, and a desire to succeed

  • General Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies

  • Ability to quickly learn new business processes or applications

  • Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely in understandable form, both orally and in writing

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

  • Ability to work independently on defined tasks Experience in a consulting environment strongly preferred

  • Experience with Financial Management a plus



  • Experience with Inventory Management a plus

  • Experience with Warehouse Management a plus

  • Wine or Food industry knowledge a plus

  • Experience with reporting tools a plus


Our Education Expectations:



  • BS/BA degree or equivalent industry experience
