DZ Salt Truck Driver – Snow Removal

Pay: $35/hr with 45 Guaranteed Hours bi-weekly
Contract: Nov 16, 2026 – Mar 28, 2027

Location: Various GTA client sites- Pick-up Truck at Bolton or Scarborough Branch

We’re hiring experienced DZ Salt Truck Drivers to keep GTA client properties safe during winter. You’ll operate DZ-class salt trucks, load your truck with salt, and ensure routes are treated efficiently and safely. Reliability, safety, and strong equipment skills are essential — an in-person drive test is required.

What You’ll Do

• Be on-call 24/7 and respond quickly during snow events


• Drive DZ-class salt trucks to treat laneways, parking lots, and roadways


• Load your truck with salt safely using a loader


• Follow site maps and complete routes on schedule


• Perform pre/post inspections, basic maintenance, and keep equipment clean


• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and team members


• Follow all company, MTO, and safety standards

• Licensed and experienced with DZ (or higher) trucks


• Experienced with operating a salt truck in winter
