Requirements

• 
  Bachelor’s
  degree in early child development
  
  
• 
  At
  least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties
  and responsibilities specified
  
  
• 
  Certificate
  in early childhood education and care (CHC 30113), if
  pertinent to the state
  
  
• 
  Ability
  to exercise patience when interacting with
  children
  
  
• 
  Strong
  interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to
  work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a
  diverse community
  
  
• 
  Basic
  computer literacy
  
  
• 
  A
  caring and approachable nature
  
  
• 
  Knowledge
  of early childhood education programs and
  techniques
  
  
• 
  Must
  meet state-specific guidelines

  to work during the evening, and after-hours, as
