Position Overview



The E-Commerce Manager, Operations is the primary partner to the Director of E-Commerce, responsible for supporting the performance, execution, and operational health of the online business in Toronto.



This role leads the day-to-day e-commerce function with a strong focus on site performance, reporting, digital operations, and cross-functional execution. You will ensure the website is consistently optimized, campaigns launch seamlessly, and the team is operating efficiently against business goals.



You bring a strong understanding of e-commerce operations and digital performance, using data, reporting, and customer insights to identify opportunities, improve workflows, and support business growth.



Key Responsibilities



Performance & Reporting



  • Support day-to-day e-commerce reporting across operational KPIs.

  • Analyze site and campaign performance to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc e-commerce reporting.

  • Monitor website performance and customer behavior to support optimization opportunities.

  • Partner with Marketing and internal teams to track campaign performance and execution.



E-Commerce Operations



  • Oversee the day-to-day execution of the online business, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all site updates.

  • Ensure product launches, merchandising updates, and campaigns are executed to a high standard.

  • Maintain strong operational oversight across product flow, publishing, fulfillment coordination, and digital execution.

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to increase speed, accuracy, and scalability.



Shopify & Site Ownership



  • Maintain overall accountability for the health and performance of the Shopify storefront.

  • Ensure all on-site content, product information, and merchandising reflect brand standards and business priorities.

  • Support homepage updates, landing pages, campaign execution, navigation, and promotional setup.

  • Coordinate with internal and external partners on site enhancements, integrations, tracking, and platform support.



Team Leadership (Toronto)



  • Lead and develop the Toronto e-commerce team, setting clear expectations and accountability across productivity, quality, and execution.

  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to support team growth.

  • Manage scheduling, workload planning, and team resourcing to support operational continuity.

  • Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented, and high-performance team environment.



Continuous Improvement & Growth



  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience, operational workflows, and overall performance.

  • Support the evolution of tools, processes, and ways of working as the business scales.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.



Qualifications



  • 3-5 years of e-commerce experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce performance metrics, digital merchandising, and online customer behavior.

  • Experience working with Shopify.

  • Comfortable working with reporting, analytics, and performance data.

  • Highly organized with strong operational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Passion for luxury retail and delivering elevated online experiences.
