Passionate about providing compassionate care? Join our team as a Support Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults aged 2-17.

Please note that this position is for casual respite care, which could include evenings, after-school, and/or weekends for a family on the Northwest side of Edmonton. The family is flexible.

Preferred language: English and  Afan Oromo  

Responsibilities:

• Provide respite care and support with daily activities
• Administer medications as instructed
• Prepare meals meeting dietary needs
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and G-tubes
• Offer companionship and plan engaging activities
• Perform light housekeeping

Qualifications:

• Experience in caregiving
• Knowledge of medication procedures
• Physical ability to lift and assist
• Strong communication and caring attitude
• Confidentiality commitment

Requirements:

• Valid First Aid
• Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check
• CFS Intervention Check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
