You are eager to expand your knowledge and expertise in EEG/EMG technology, contributing to cutting-edge research and quality improvement initiatives. In this role, you will advance your existing clinical analysis and safe patient handling skills by applying them to various patient populations. Unique to this position, Mount Sinai provides an opportunity to gain significant experience completing EEGs with level 3 (NICU) neonates and with adults, including patients in ICU.
About this team
The Neurology and Rehabilitation team at Mount Sinai Hospital is a collaborative and supportive group of health care professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with neurological disorders. This team supports all inpatient programs (including ICU and NICU), along with our neurology ambulatory clinics. Inpatient consults are ad-hoc daily and based on patient’s medical acuity and status. Our ambulatory clinics run five days a week with patients scheduled to be seen by the technicians on a daily basis.
This team includes neurologists, EEG/EMG technicians, and other specialists who work together to diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions. We leverage cutting-edge technologies and techniques, including the latest Natus EEG/EMG hardware and software to deliver accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, learn from their expertise, and play a vital role in advancing of neurological care.
