Job Description - Electrical Design Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Design Manager in managing electrical design; 
  • Participate in design meetings with consultants; 
  • Coordinate customer requests in cooperation with the Design Manager;
  • Identifies critical components and ensures accurate resource to meet project goals;
  • Monitor procurement schedule to ensure timely delivery within project requirements, revises and communicates schedule changes to stay on course;
  • Provide assistant in reviewing the electrical scope during proposal and bids;
  • Participate in the elaboration of various options;
  • Contribute to the preparation of the monthly reports.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Electrical Coordination, preferably in the Construction industry;
  • Bilingual (an asset), but proficiency in English language with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is required;
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Project software;
  • Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, estimating, drawings and specifications, building material and required standards applicable to discipline.
