In this role, you’ll provide critical electrical support and expertise for some of the largest mobile mining equipment in the world. Your ability to apply logic and deductive reasoning will be key in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.

Location: Wabush, NL (must be local). 
Shift:  7x7 or 14x14
Wage: $53.84 plus applicable premiums.

What You'll Do: 

• Support both customers and other trades people in the resolution, component repair/rebuild, haul truck/shovel repair, and equipment assembly/repair issues in the effective troubleshooting of equipment.


• Install new parts and equipment in accordance with generally accepted industry standards, as well as site specific best practices.


• Perform component failure analysis to improve the operation of installed parts and equipment

What You Bring

• Journeyperson Electrician certification (Red Seal is an asset). 


• Strong commitment to safety


• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and OEM drawings and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts


• Experience with Komatsu heavy equipment such as haul trucks, shovels, dozers etc. is considered an asset


• Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision


• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills


• Effective oral and written communication skills


• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
