Vecima is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineering Technologist to participate in the development of next-generation telecommunication and networking products. The successful candidate will join an industry-leading team of technology leaders with a passion for quality networks to maximize business value and will contribute to the development of next generation products used by some of the world’s largest Cable operators.
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field
5+ years of experience in hardware testing or validation
Strong understanding of RF measurement techniques, AC/DC power systems, environmental stressors and reliability test principles
Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation, test setups, and product configuration via CLI/HTML interfaces
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
standards, QAM/OFDM, broadband networks, and digital video encoding/transport is considered an asset
This incumbent will work from our Saskatoon, SK office.
