Role Overview
We are looking for a Tailings Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to support our commitment to safety and environmental compliance in tailings management. In this role, you will provide technical support to Mill Operations, focusing on safe and effective tailings deposition while adhering to established safety and environmental procedures. You will assist in developing short-term deposition plans and infrastructure requirements aligned with long-term strategies.Key responsibilities include conducting monthly reconciliations of deposition plans, collecting and maintaining tailings data, and producing regular reports. You will also perform field quality control tests for geotechnical materials, track costs associated with tailings activities, and assist with water management calculations. Engaging in surveying and GPS fieldwork using RTK equipment and drone photogrammetry, you will support infrastructure inspections and provide project management coverage as needed.
