Perform site visits during development and construction to manage design process.
Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in engineering projects.
What are the typical qualifications for Principal Project Engineer jobs?
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in business, business administration, engineering or human resources, or equivalent experience.
Experience with AutoCAD, CAD, and BIM software and systems.
Prior experience in a consulting position.
Comfortable with processes such as change orders, site design, project design, and explanation of cost estimates.
Experience and drawing and site design.
Demonstrated collaboration and critical thinking skills alongside dedication to continuous improvement.
Can lead and problem solve.
Demonstrated strong work ethic and attention to detail.
About the role:
Main Purpose: Defined technology architecture standards for deployment into our client environments.
How the job contributes to the organization’s success: Creation of standardization to increase the organization’s efficiency. Key Performance Indicator creation & reporting will drive automation and standardization focus.
Engage and collaborate the organization’s departments to ensure all departments have input to the company’s technology architecture standards.
Define swim lanes for each department to create a workflow that ensures communication across the organization regarding architecture changes.

Create a vision of cloud services standards going forward by defining standards
Follow continual service improvement standards
Encourage and manage the improvement process / feedback loop that ensures the team members supporting and deploying technology has a voice in the Architecture Review Board.
Develop a scorecard matrix to score new solutions and technologies, present and communicate to the technology and business leadership.
Prevent technology sprawl by limiting the number of technologies available.
Develop architecture playbook(s), build reference solutions, data flows, guidance and design specs necessary for the rollout of the solutions.
Review existing systems designs, gather technical requirements and architecture for compliance, adherence to quality and standards.

Candidate requirements:
Experience assessing and recommending software solutions that are on-premise and cloud.
Experience architecting, designing and delivering services to internal or external customers
Have cloud experience with deploying highly available, scalable and mission critical services
Hands-on experience developing security concepts and best practices
Understanding of Azure Cloud solutions like: O365, M365, Teams, Intune, Azure compute, Backup and DR, Networking, Security, Identity, and Migration.
