Job Description - Enterprise HR Systems Analyst (12 month FTC)

As an Enterprise HR Systems Analyst at Inizio, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, testing, and support of our new enterprise Workday HCM (Human Capital Management) application, acting as a technical/functional point-of-contact for HR users and related business groups.

You will report to our Enterprise HR Technology Manager. This is a remote-working role, 12-month FTC, based in Canada or the US.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide troubleshooting support for functional and technical production issues, including coordinating with Workday using their case management system.
  • Manage Workday functional ticketing queue to ensure tickets are addressed promptly, and with excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical team members to improve business processes (i.e workflow/security) and continually improve Workday integrations and features.
  • Be the subject matter expert for Workday, supporting teams to understand the Workday design concepts and globally defined configuration.
  • Collaborate with functional team members to build reporting (basic and advanced – calc fields/all reporting types).
  • Support Workday major releases and the design and configuration of new Workday enhancements as they are made available, coordinating (where necessary) with Workday’s Change Control Board to evaluate, prioritize, and schedule these enhancements.
  • Support regression testing (manual and SMART automated) and the introduction of required changes as new Workday releases are introduced.
  • Help deliver training / materials (i.e., QRGs, FAQs, and training decks), and updating the educational material on our knowledgebase.
  • What you bring to the role

  • 2+ years working with HR related technologies as a technical / functional expert with a clear understanding of core HR business practices, processes, and terminology (HRIS, compensation, benefits, recruiting, and performance management).
  • Excellent technical support and configuration knowledge of Workday, covering HCM, Absence, Learning, Recruiting, and Payroll. Workday functional expertise and familiarity with technical offerings (EIB/Core Connectors).
  • Have been involved in at least 1 Workday implementation or equivalent Workday experience.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Portals and content manager tools.
  • Experience with Kainos SMART Tool is a bonus.

This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations.
