The Opportunity:

We are excited to be hiring Entry Level Field Hands at select districts. (Fort St. John) We are looking for candidates who are committed to Safety and are motivated to advance their careers as an Oilfield Cementer. This is a Safety sensitive position.

• No previous oilfield cementing experience required


• Class 1 Mandatory Entry-Level Training (M.E.L.T.) provided

General Responsibilities:

• Safely assist with rigging-in, rigging out and other functions at the job site


• Ensure units are clean, and completing shop duties as directed


• Working with various hands tools, hydraulic & pressure pumping equipment

Qualifications:

Required:

• MUST possess a Full Class 5 Drivers License; manual experience preferred


• A clean abstract is required. No suspensions + incident free driving history


• Previous experience should demonstrate a commitment to labour intensive environments: Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Military, Construction, Manual Labour, etc.


• Team focused work ethic and a SAFETY conscious attitude


• Curious mind and desire to learn; ongoing training and development provided


• Capable of working in extreme weather on a 24 hour on-call schedule


• Physically fit and able to complete demanding tasks for extended periods

Nice to have:

• Local candidates are preferred, housing available while on rotation for exceptional candidates at select locations


• Skills regarding mechanical aptitude, problem solving and math are an asset


• Individuals with Canadian Armed Forces, or Agricultural backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply!
