Join the Proline Rentals & Bins Team in Orillia!

Do you have a A/DZ license and a knack for delivering exceptional service? Proline Rentals & Bins is looking for a dependable, safety-conscious Equipment Delivery Person (A/DZ Driver) to join our Orillia crew. You'll play a key role in delivering and picking up rental equipment and disposal bins at local homes, cottages, and job sites across the region.

We’re known for our fast, friendly, and reliable service — and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to getting the job done right. If you enjoy driving, working independently, and interacting with customers, this could be the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

As an Equipment Delivery Person (A/DZ Driver) with Proline, you’ll be the face of our equipment and bin delivery service. You’ll handle everything from safe transport and loading to clear communication with our customers and shop team.

  • Responsible for your vehicle - Perform daily vehicle inspections (circle checks), gas and fluid levels

  • Ensure safe vehicle and equipment operation; conducting inspections during transit, if required

  • Follow relevant legislation, company policies and procedures

  • Load, unload, and properly secure equipment and bins for transit

  • Deliver and pick up equipment and bins on schedule

  • Maintain accurate delivery, pickup, and inspection records

  • Confirm deliveries match customer orders and needs, secure signatures, as required

  • Report new job sites or customer needs to the office staff/manager, identifying new sales opportunities

  • Notify the appropriate office staff/management of any issues, delays, or customer feedback

  • Obtain appropriate forms for any missing or broken equipment, obtaining customer signatures and tagging equipment to be repaired, as required

  • Ensure broken equipment is returned to the correct holding location until it is repaired, notifying the mechanics of issues upon return and reporting to appropriate office staff

  • Alert mechanics to any equipment issues upon return

  • Provide basic equipment operation instructions to customers, as required

  • Assist with back shop tasks or repairs when needed

What You Bring:

We’re looking for someone professional, punctual, and team-oriented. You take pride in keeping your truck safe and your deliveries on point. If you’ve got strong local knowledge and are customer-focused, you’ll thrive in this role.

  • Valid DZ license with a clean driving abstract

  • Solid knowledge of roads throughout Simcoe/Muskoka

  • Experience hauling heavy or oversized loads/equipment is a strong asset

  • Familiarity with construction and landscaping equipment

  • Strong customer service mindset – reliable, professional, courteous, and solution-focused

  • Willingness to work overtime, as required

  • Excellent communication and time-management skills with attention to detail

Why You’ll Love Working with Us:

We know the value of hard work—and we make sure it’s rewarded in ways that matter, both on the job and at home:

  • No regularly scheduled weekend shifts – Enjoy your time off with a reliable Monday to Friday schedule

  • Standard daytime hours – Predictable work hours that support a balanced lifestyle

  • Enjoy work-life balance — Our stores are closed on most (if not all) statutory holidays, giving you more time for family, rest, and personal pursuits.

  • Holiday break – We close our stores over the Christmas season so you can spend time with family. Use your vacation days with no formal request needed.

  • Staff discounts – Save on building materials and supplies with exclusive employee pricing

  • Health & wellness benefits – Including comprehensive dental, vision, and life insurance coverage

  • Supportive team culture – Friendly coworkers, hands-on training, and a leadership team that listens

  • Room to grow – We love to promote from within and support you as your skills evolve

  • Staff events & engagement activities – BBQs, team lunches, seasonal celebrations, giveaways and more to keep work fun and connected

  • Regular wage reviews – We conduct routine pay assessments to ensure your compensation stays fair and competitive
