ERP Implementation Officer - Term 


Department:  Governance & Executive Operations 


Location: Tr’ondek Hwech’in Offices – Dawson, YT 


Posting Date:  April 25, 2025 


Standard Hours Bi-Weekly:  75 


Start Date:  Immediately 


End Date:  Two (2) years from start date 


Salary:  Level 8 Step 1 ($95,335.50 annually) 




Closing Date 4:00pm (YST):  May 8, 2025 


 


Reporting to the Senior Information Advisor, the ERP Implementation Officer supports and manages the successful delivery of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)-related projects, including case management systems, client portals and workflow automation initiatives. The incumbent participates in system development, coordinates project activities, manages relationships with external vendors and contractors, and provides technical and functional assistance throughout the implementation lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines technical ERP expertise with strong organizational, analytical and communication skills to effectively contribute to enhanced business processes and organizational efficiency. 



An Eligibility List may be established from this competition – the duration of the eligibility list may be up to 12 months. The eligibility list may be used to fill future permanent full-time, permanent part-time, temporary full-time, temporary part-time, term, or auxiliary on-call vacancies within the same department and classification based on the organizational needs by going the next highest ranked candidate until the eligibility list expires.

Essential Qualifications:  



  • Post-secondary degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or business information technology, along with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, WordPress, U1Design, Adobe In-Design, Publisher and Photoshop, Microsoft 365 (MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to moderate videoconference meetings.

  • General knowledge of the TH Final Agreement, TH Self-Government Agreement, TH Constitution and related implementation agreements.

  • Ability to develop and implement policies, processes and procedures.

  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills, with an ability to prioritize competing demands.

  • Excellent planning, organizing, research, analytical and critical review skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential documents and situations.

  • Well-developed professional oral and written communications skills, with an ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. 


Assets: 



  • Knowledge of TH Government structures and TH culture, traditions, history, demographics, family structures and socio-economic dynamics, challenges and aspirations.
