ERP Specialist - Finance and Accounting

Reporting to the Group ERP Manager, the ERP Specialist – Finance and Accounting will be participating in the evolution, support and maintenance of the Business Central/Navision ERP globally (for the different sites internationally).

The candidate will be part of an international team of ERP specialists, located in Montréal and in the Asia/Pacific region.

The candidate will be responsible for the finance & accounting functions of BC (D365), thus be the reference for supporting, proposing and implementing the best practices with the tool in this regard.

The first objective of this person will be to collaborate in the ERP migration of 5 different BC & Navision installations around the world into one Cloud (SaaS) tenant with multiple instances.  In doing so, he/she will convert all sites to one global chart of accounts.

Over the years, possibly participating in migrating BC into another ERP.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out major finance and accounting projects on the ERP as an Analyst


• Provide level 2 and 3 support for finance & accounting users


• Participate in the migration of hosted BC and Navision to one Cloud tenant with multiple instances


• Integration of ERP modules and Applications into Business Central


• Implement, and Support customizations in BC


• Ensure BC finance and accounting features are well supported for all users worldwide


• Train end-users on how to use Microsoft Business Central


• Work with internal stakeholders to understand the technical requirements and scope out modifications and development


• Convert functional requirements to technical specifications and design documents


• Recommend best practices and influence stakeholders


• Create, Design and modify the default reporting in BC


• Communicate effectively with users.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Navision or Business Central management


• In depth understanding of ERP support and operations


• Proven ability to translate business processes in applicable ERP configurations

Education

• A degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering in a related field is required.
