The Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for managing the functions necessary to successfully perform remediation projects.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
1. Project Initiation and Initial Job Scoping
a. Evaluate and sell projects.
b. Educate customers on how SERVPRO® can help them; earn the job by gaining customer and client confidence.
c. Create and/or review job scopes and ensure accuracy and clarity
d. Educate customers on job process.
2. Project Planning
a. Identify and document project scope of work.
b. Create and review estimates.
c. Obtain customer and client agreement on scope and estimate.
d. Create scope and detailed work orders to ensure staff is ready to do the job efficiently.
e. Keep customers and COI’s informed about the job.
f. Maintain communication with customers about the job to ensure expectations are met.
g. Remain up-to-date on all jobs in progress.
h. Coordinate and monitor subcontract work, ensuring quality work is completed timely.
i. Inspect services and final walk-through on jobs.
j. Be responsible for customer service and management of the customer experience.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements
This is a full-time position, working 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday. This position frequently requires long hours, working on-call and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local.
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
