Facility Attendant, Corporate Facilities

The Opportunity 

Reporting directly to the Facility Operations Coordinator, this role is responsible for maintaining and performing general caretaking duties for Corporate Facilities. You will assist with operational and maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are safe and efficient. You will be responsible for disinfecting high-touch surfaces, conducting facility upkeep, and supporting day-to-day operations. As the Facility Attendant, you will perform the following duties, including but not limited to: 

Perform a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks, including: 

• Changing garbage and recycling bins


• Sweeping and mopping floors and stairwells


• Vacuuming carpets and rugs


• Washing windows, doors, and other surfaces


• Cleaning and sanitizing washrooms including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing supplies.


• Report any damages, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to the supervisor.


• Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently. 

Assist with maintaining the facility, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and well-presented. 

Disinfect high-touch points around the facilities regularly to maintain a hygienic environment. 

Complete administrative tasks as required, including: 

• Recording attendance


• Preparing necessary documentation


• Completing Injury and Incident Reports in a timely and accurate manner

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a reliable professional with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Our ideal candidate has experience in facility maintenance or general caretaking.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated responsibility and reliability. We are seeking an individual with superior time management skills, a demonstrated ability to follow procedures, and excellent attention to detail.

The successful candidate for Facility Attendant will be required to work a flexible schedule, including in the office and after hours as required.

This position offers an hourly range of $22.03 - $23.38.

Satisfactory passing of a criminal record check, and proof of qualifications will be required of any successful candidate(s) for this position.
