The Request for Care Clinic, located in Halifax, supports the short term management of patients without a primary care provider for needs unable to be managed by Virtual Care NS. This team will be supported by family physicians, nurse practitioners, family practice nurse and social worker. This brand-new space is located in the Halifax Shopping Centre on Mumford Road.
This clinic offers support for patients of all ages, and the incoming physician would be expected to provide care to a wide demographic range.
Payment for this position is on a sessional hourly rate as per the 2023-2027 Physician Agreement, and there is no overhead for this position.
The clinic is seeking a physician who can commit to 0.5 FTE or more (1.0 FTE is available).
Physician must be eligible for licensure in Nova Scotia in order to be considered.
