Yarmouth is seeking full-time and part-time family physicians to join a collaborative team to provide office-based comprehensive primary care with their fellow physicians and other care providers at the practice. The successful candidate will also have the option of joining the hospitalist group to provide inpatient care at Yarmouth Regional Hospital (YRH). They may also participate in teaching through the Dalhousie University Family Medicine residency program based in Yarmouth, and/or with medical students through Dalhousie University. In addition, there is opportunity for the successful candidate will provide nursing home care, take on emergency department shifts or join the group of family medicine physicians who provide primary maternity care and low risk deliveries. YRH was originally founded in 1912 and has developed into a vast health care complex serving the 58,000 people of Shelburne, Yarmouth, and Digby Counties.
