Field Maintenance Foreman

Park Paving is a locally owned and operated company and has been in business for 50 years as one the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton. We are looking for a FIELD MAINTENANCE FOREMAN who can be responsible for a variety of duties related to the scheduling and coordinating heavy duty field technicians.

This position will be based out of our Maintenance Shop location in Sherwood Park, AB.

This is a full-time permanent position with competitive wages and benefits, including the allocation/use of a company vehicle.

Primary duties include:

• Coordinating and scheduling all field mechanics (this includes taking calls and providing support over the phone).
• Inspecting stationary and mobile equipment at different locations to help diagnose problems and support efficient execution of work.
• Working with personnel across different departments to ensure organizational needs are met and that equipment is available when required.
• Working with other personnel within the maintenance department, including the Shop Foreman, to make sure all shop services and repairs are completed in an efficient and timely manner.

Successful candidates must be a fully licensed four year heavy Equipment technician with a valid driver license, will posses valid CVIP license, and have a strong operating knowledge of a wide range of heavy-duty equipment. Successful candidates must also poses the organizational and interpersonal skills needed to coordinate efforts between their direct reports and other departments while maintaining positive and respectful work environment.
