Day in the Life
- Work with Regional fleet manager, local offices and project managers to create and maintain a master schedule of all upcoming long term equipment requirements across BC
- Determine if company needs can be meet with our own equipment or will need to be provided by a rental source
- Work closely with other departments to ensure satisfaction and accuracy of equipment requests
- Provide recommendations for equipment purchase when cost savings can be identified
- Coordinate and ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of large company equipment and rental equipment
- Verify availability of equipment with shops and/or check inventory status
- Finalize rental details such as when, where and what equipment is needed
- Ensure accurate pick-up and delivery times of equipment are met
- Other duties as assigned

What We Are Seeking
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in large equipment rental or dispatching an asset
- 3 years of experience in fleet administration
- Experience with a computerized purchasing system
- Experience with a computerized schedule system such as MS Project
- Superior organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service experience considered an asset
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to problem solve
