Flight Coordinator/Checker

CLS Catering Services is a joint venture of Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. and LSG Sky Chefs, the world’s largest airline caterer and provider of integrated service solutions. CLS operates from both Toronto and Vancouver airports and has been an industry leader in Canada for over 20 years.

Responsibilities:

• Quality and quantity inspections of meal tray set-ups including: casseroles, standards, crew meals, special meals
• Position all airline catering requirement items by flight number in the holding area
• Complete catering requirement “check list” form for each flight number checked
• Enter the appropriate aircraft and confirm meal count quantities with the flight attendant on board the aircraft
• Correct any product or equipment shortages that exist
• Assist with the distribution and updating of meals tags

Location: 2950 Convair Drive, Toronto, ON L5P1A2

Reporting to: Customer Service Manager

Schedule: Rotational Monday- Sunday, flexible shift times

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2-4 years practical experience in the food and beverage industry and customer services
• Valid G drivers license
• Ability to work in temperature controlled environments for duration of shift
• Detail Orientated with the ability to read meal counts/tags
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to read a flight report and match up the information accordingly
• Need to be able to obtain both the GTA RAIC PASS & AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit) - once hired
• Basic knowledge on MS Office
• Must be fluent in English
• Effective problem solving skills
• Must be reliable, professional and presentable
• Ability to work with customers in a fast paced environment
