Food Services Attendant

Location - This role is in-person. Work primarily takes place at Augustana Campus in Camrose, AB.

This competition will be used to hire multiple positions.

This recurring position is active for 8 months each year, from mid-August to April, with an inactive period from May to mid-August. This position does have the potential for casual hours in the remaining months. Please note that the annual salary will be pro-rated to reflect the active period. 

This position has variable hours, including some weekends and early evenings to cover all meal services, and offers the potential for a Culinary Apprenticeship for the right candidate.

This position will work in our Dining Services department providing meals to both students living in our residences and students who live off campus.

• Help prepare and serve meals for 300+ people in a high-volume dining hall.
• Work efficiently alongside the Chef, following set menus and recipes.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of kitchen or food service experience preferred.
• Food handling certification/safety training preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift kitchen items regularly.
