Job Overview

Our client is a waste recycling facility located in North Richmond near the Knight Street Bridge.

This position requires:

• A valid BC Drivers License
  
• At least 2 years Experience working with a Counter Balance Forklift
  
• At Valid Counter Balance Forklift Operator License
  
• Ability to work Monday to Friday from 3PM to 11PM
  
• Accept a starting rate of $19 per hour
  
• A permanent resident or citizen of Canada
  

Willingness to be hired full -time and commit to full -time work. This is a Temporary to Permanent Role.

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our client's dynamic team in a fast -paced waste recycling outdoor and covered environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a counter balance forklift and have the physical capabilities to lift to 50 pounds. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of operations within the waste recycling facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts,
  
• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
  
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain an organized work environment.
