Forklift Operator

Location: Windsor, ON

Position/Title: Forklift Operator

Salary/Hourly Rate: $21.00

Shift: 7am-3pm

Job Type: Contract 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to transport, load, and unload goods.

  
  


• 
  

  Stack and organize products in designated areas within the warehouse.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational efficiency.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and storage locations.

  
  


• 
  

  Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with general warehouse duties, including order picking, packing, and cleaning as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Report any equipment malfunctions or workplace hazards to management.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Valid forklift certification/license required 

  
  


• 
  

  1 year proven experience as a forklift operator.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to lift and move heavy objects (30lbs)

  
  


• 
  

  Attention to detail and organizational skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  
  


• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  
   


• Able to operator a pump cart.
