Primary Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine installation specifications
• Prepare layouts in conformance to internal drawings using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of steel.
• Trim rough edges from wallboard to maintain even joints.
• Safely use various power tools including, but not limited to, drills and saws.
• Work collaboratively between departments to ensure efficiency in the build process.
• Take direction from Site Foreman on tasks to be completed.
• Ensure attention to detail to maintain quality of work.
• Perform well under a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
• Champion General Contractor and RWC safety guidelines and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Minimum 2-3 years experience working in a similar role
• 1-2 years’ trade school certificate considered an asset
• Class 5 Drivers License
