This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a French Voice Recording Contributor based in Canada.
This is a flexible, remote opportunity designed for fluent French (Canadian) speakers who want to contribute to the development of AI-driven language technologies.
You will take part in a variety of simple digital tasks such as recording short spoken sentences, transcribing audio clips, and supporting text organization and review activities.
The work is fully online, allowing you to choose tasks based on your availability and preferences, making it ideal for flexible schedules.
Participants play an important role in improving the quality of multilingual AI systems by providing accurate, natural language data.
The environment is task-based and user-friendly, with clear instructions and accessible tools provided throughout the project.
This opportunity is well suited for detail-oriented individuals comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
No fixed hours are required, but consistency and quality in task completion are essential.
Accountabilities:
- Record short French (Canadian) sentences with clear pronunciation and natural delivery.
- Transcribe audio clips accurately while maintaining attention to linguistic detail.
- Assist in cleaning, organizing, and structuring text data for AI training purposes.
- Optionally review and validate the work of other contributors when assigned.
- Follow provided guidelines and ensure high-quality output across all tasks.
- Work independently using the designated online platform and complete tasks at your own pace.
Requirements:
- Native or near-native fluency in French (Canada).
- Strong command of English for instructions and task navigation.
- Prior experience in transcription, voice recording, annotation, or similar language tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong linguistic accuracy.
- Access to a quiet environment suitable for audio recording tasks.
- A device compatible with audio recording at 8,000 Hz or 16,000 Hz sample rate.
- Ability to work independently and manage flexible workloads effectively.
