Position: Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular)

Role Overview

A Senior Software Developer is required to support enterprise permitting platform enhancements and integration initiatives. The role focuses on modernizing digital permitting systems, building integrations with centralized platforms, and ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant application development within large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications across the full SDLC.
  


• Build and enhance applications using Java, Spring Boot, JPA, EJB, Angular, NodeJS, and PDF generation tools (e.g., iText, Velocity).
  


• Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services for secure and scalable interactions.
  


• Design and implement microservices architectures and distributed systems.
  


• Develop cloud-enabled solutions using Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and automation tools.
  


• Prepare deployment packages and support releases across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
  


• Implement and manage business rules using IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM).
  


• Integrate applications with enterprise workflow tools (e.g., IBM Business Automation Workflow).
  


• Develop and support applications on enterprise application servers (e.g., WebSphere, Liberty).
  


• Write complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and data migration scripts.
  


• Support relational and hierarchical databases and enterprise data migration activities.
  


• Work with enterprise content management APIs to maintain metadata integrity.
  


• Develop AODA-compliant user interfaces and accessible documents aligned with accessibility standards.
  


• Deploy and manage applications using cloud container platforms such as OpenShift.
  


• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  


• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.
  


• Conduct testing (unit, regression, load, functional) to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  


• Perform code reviews and provide effort estimates.
  


• Track progress using Kanban tools and support project reporting.
  

Qualifications

Core Development Skills

• 10+ years of experience in full SDLC development using Java (JEE).
  


• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Angular, NodeJS, JPA, EJB, and web technologies.
  


• Experience building RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
  


• Strong experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  

Cloud & DevOps

• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services.
  


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and infrastructure automation.
  


• Experience managing multi-environment deployments.
  

Integration & Enterprise Systems

• Expertise in IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM).
  


• Experience with enterprise workflow integration tools (e.g., BAW).
  


• Experience with enterprise application servers such as WebSphere and Liberty.
  


• Familiarity with middleware and integration protocols.
  

Database

• Strong PL/SQL expertise including queries, procedures, and data migration scripts.
  


• Experience with relational and hierarchical databases.
  

Content Management

• Experience with enterprise content management systems and APIs.
  

Accessibility & Compliance

• Experience developing AODA-compliant applications and accessible documents.
  


• Familiarity with government IT standards and accessibility guidelines.
  

Public Sector Experience

• Experience working in public sector environments, especially permitting platforms and enterprise integrations.
  

Agile & Collaboration

• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
  


• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
