Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently to patients.
• Provide expert advice to patients regarding the proper use, side effects, and interactions of medications.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-specific medication plans.
• Monitor patient health and progress to ensure the effectiveness of prescribed therapies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new medications, industry trends, and legal regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations in daily operations.
• Manage inventory and order pharmaceutical supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Educate patients about disease prevention, wellness, and lifestyle choices to enhance overall health.

• Valid pharmacist license in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or PharmD) from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience as a licensed pharmacist in a retail or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug therapies, and medication safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work full time with a flexible schedule including some weekends or evenings as needed.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and electronic health records.
