As part of our healthcare team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and staff in a fast-paced hospital environment. You’ll gain valuable experience in healthcare security, emergency response, and public safety—while working alongside a supportive, highly trained team.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot to maintain safety and enforce hospital rules and procedures.
• Monitor and report irregularities, including safety hazards, security breaches, and emergencies.
• Communicate effectively via two-way radio and written reports.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide assistance as needed.
• Offer exceptional customer service and assist anyone in need, including during emergencies.
• Support emergency responders such as police, fire, and paramedics as required.
• Prepare accurate and detailed incident and investigation reports.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

• Valid Security License for the Province of Ontario.
• Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor).
• Proof of required immunizations (TB, MMR, Varicella).
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Previous experience in healthcare, by-law, or parking enforcement.
• Authorized to legally work in Canada.
