Join Paladin Security as a Full-Time Security Guard at University Health Network – West Park in Toronto, ON. In this critical healthcare role, you’ll be part of a dedicated team focused on maintaining safety, security, and peace of mind for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of hospital premises including parking areas, entrances, patient floors, and restricted zones
• Monitor security systems, cameras, and alarms, reporting and responding to suspicious activity immediately
• Manage hospital access points, ensuring only authorized individuals enter secured areas
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations (e.g., medical incidents, fires, or threats) and assist with evacuations when necessary
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients, visitors, and staff courteously and professionally
• De-escalate tense situations using approved techniques and sound judgment
• Complete accurate and detailed daily activity and incident reports
• Collaborate with hospital personnel and local authorities to uphold a safe and secure environment
• Enforce hospital policies and ensure compliance with all safety and visitor protocols

• Valid Security License for the Province of Ontario
• Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
• COVID-19 Vaccination (minimum two doses)
• Immunization records for MMR, Varicella, and two-step TB skin test
• N95 Mask Fit certification
• English fluency (oral and written)
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred
• Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) required
• Candidates without these certifications may complete Paladin’s UOF/MOAB training program prior to onboarding
• Training is unpaid but covered by Paladin with a 6-month commitment to the position
