Starting Rate of Pay: $17.82/hr CAD

Job Duties Include:

As a General Cook, the care you devote to food and workspace preparation will result in the creation of truly spectacular fare. In this role you will support the hotel by:

• Assist in the production and execution of all food items for a la carte and or banquet menus according to hotel recipes and standards
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with hotel EHC policies and hotel standards
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions
• Ensure proper labeling, dating and  storage of all items in the kitchen
• Other duties as assigned by CDP relevant to day to day operations.

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience in the culinary field an asset
• Understanding of knife use and safety required
• Completion of a certified foodservice handling course required
• Diploma or Certification in a Culinary discipline an asset
• Valid Alberta driver’s license an asset
