General Labor - Operator III

Gambrinus Malting is looking for an Operator III to join our team in Armstrong, BC!

As an Operator you will function as a member of the production team with a focus on bagging operations in the warehouse, steeping, kiln loading, sanitation, and general housekeeping.

• Moving grain from the germination vessels to the kiln
• Palletizing products using automated bagging system
• Attending all safety meetings
• Maintaining a clean and organized plant
• Following all safety procedure and policies
• Other duties as assigned 

• Knowledge and understanding of plant processes and equipment.
• Previous grain handling, warehouse, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine production records and communicate with other employees, Supervisors/Managers.
• Ability to work with other Gambrinus Malting employees to troubleshoot as required
• First Aid Level 1 is advantageous
