General Labourer - Mat Maker

General Labourer for Shift Work in our Mat Making Department. No experience required!

North West Rubber (NWR) is a rapidly growing company. We have been in business and exponentially growing for over 50 years and have been in the "Green Sector" long before it became cool. NWR recycles used tires into industrial rubber flooring used for horse stalls and trailers, athletic facilities, and industrial applications. We are looking for great people to join our diverse team at our Abbotsford, BC location. You need to be available to work full time and work a variety of shifts.

Key Responsibilities / Details:

• Manufacturing of rubber mat flooring


• Walking, standing, reaching, shoveling, and pulling.


• Lifting up to 50 lbs. This is a physical manual labour job.


• Operate hoist cranes, forklifts, and bobcats at times.


• Maintain target production rate


• Plant runs 24/7. Must be able to maintain 4 on 2 off 8 hour work schedules with rotating shifts: Days, Afternoons, and Nights.


• Wear Personal Protective Equipment and follow safe work procedures.


• Work as part of a diverse team.
