General Labourer (Steel Fabrication Shop)

The Ganawa Company Ltd. is a custom steel fabricator and full-service supplier for the bridge construction industry as well as a variety of other structural steel markets.  Clearwater Structures Inc. is a General Contractor specializing in Bridge Construction and Rehabilitation.

We are looking for General Labourers in our Bowmanville steel fabrication shop.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs of materials and standing for long periods


• Must be able to accurately read a measuring tape (imperial and metric)


• Ability to Read, Speak and Write English


• Proficient forklifts and overhead crane operation, an asset but not required


• Experience in Welding, an asset but not required


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Positive attitude and take pride in your work


• Solid communication and team collaboration


• Sound knowledge and commitment to health and safety in the workplace
