General Manager

We are one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies Platinum level and we have a great opportunity for a General Manager to join our team in a company and industry with great growth opportunities at our Crown Honda Dealership located at 2610 McPhillips Street.

After the initial 90 days, success will mean having the ability and skills to maximize the dealerships potential through developing and implementing the business plan, continuously evaluating and improving the operation, and starting to develop a driven team and an engaging culture.  

Responsibilities:

• Be an ambassador for Crown’s Power of One strategy. 


• Lead and continue to build a customer centric culture focused on providing exemplary service while resolving any customer issues that may arise


• Be a coach to Crown Honda managers and team members.


• Be a part of the Crown Automotive group leadership team, while ensuring alignment with the Crown Automotive group’s goals for sustainability and growth


• Drive operational excellence by continually monitoring, evaluating and improving upon processes and key performance indicators as necessary.


• Develop the business plan and sales objectives for the dealership and oversee its implementation.


• Build lasting relationships with customers, team members, manufacturer representatives and stakeholders based on trust, integrity and respect


• Attract, hire, retain talented and passionate employees and develop succession plans.


• Collaborate well with the manufacturer/OEM on implementing its strategy and achieve its key objectives. 

Requirements:

• Five (5) years in a management position, with strong preference to those with an automotive background


• Completed post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting is considered an asset.
  


• Team Oriented and a track record of building and sustaining a great culture.


• Exemplary leadership qualities and ability to bring team members together.


• Ability to represent the CROWN Auto Group’s CARMA values: Collaborate, Accountable, Relationship-focused, Motivated, Attitude.


• Strong Time Management and Organizational Skills


• Strong analytical skills, with an ability to convert data into decisions and actions.


• Experience utilizing and leveraging a CRM and equity mining tool is an asset.


• Valid drivers license


• Other languages spoken considered an asset.
