Sous la supervision du directeur des ventes et du développement commercial pour les équipements d'origine (OE) dans le secteur des transports en commun, le responsable des offres a pour principale responsabilité la préparation des appels d'offres et des propositions destinées aux clients, ainsi que la gestion de ce processus jusqu'à la signature du contrat.

Wabtec recherche activement une personne qualifiée pour rejoindre notre équipe des ventes et des offres. L'équipe des ventes et des offres joue un rôle essentiel dans le développement de nouvelles activités liées aux équipements d'origine pour l'entreprise. Nous fournissons des équipements pour toutes les principales applications de transport en commun en Amérique du Nord, notamment à Amtrak, à la Chicago Transit Authority, à la Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority et à la New York City Transit, où nous disposons de notre plus grande base installée d'équipements en Amérique du Nord.
Ce poste dynamique et stimulant alliera la responsabilité personnelle de remporter des contrats à une coordination quotidienne avec tous les services de l'organisation, notamment les services financiers, juridiques, de gestion de projet, de fabrication, d'approvisionnement et d'ingénierie. Ce poste vous amènera à collaborer avec la direction de l'entreprise et de nombreuses divisions sœurs de Wabtec. Vous serez également en contact avec nos clients et partagerez la responsabilité de préparer et de gérer des propositions de plusieurs millions de dollars, depuis l'identification initiale de l'opportunité jusqu'à la négociation avec le client retenu et le lancement du projet, en passant par l'élaboration de la proposition et sa communication à plusieurs clients.
Au sein de l'équipe Ventes et Propositions, vous participerez également à la planification stratégique et aux décisions de développement de produits qui déterminent l'orientation de nos gammes de produits Freins, Attelages, Prise de courant, Portes et CVC. Under the supervision of the Director of Transit OE Sales and Business Development, the Proposal Managers primary responsibility is the preparation of the tenders/proposals to the customer and the management of that process until contract signature.
Who will you be working with?
Wabtec is actively seeking a qualified individual to join our Sales and Proposal Team. The Sales and Proposal Team serves a vital role in developing new original equipment business for the corporation. We supply equipment on all major transit applications in North America such as with Amtrak, Chicago Transit Authority, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and New York City Transit, where we have our largest installed base of equipment in North America.
This fast paced and challenging position will combine personal accountability to win business along with daily coordination with every department in the organization, including finance, legal, project management, manufacturing, procurement, and engineering. This role will require you to interface with the corporate management and many Wabtec sister divisions. You will also interact with our customers and share responsibility to prepare and manage multi-million-dollar proposals, beginning with initial identification of the opportunity, developing the proposal and communicating it to multiple customers and culminating with the negotiation with the winning customer and project launch.
As part of the Sales and Proposal Team, you will also be involved in strategic planning and product development decisions that shape the direction of our Brake, Coupler, Power Collection, Door and HVAC product lines. We are looking for an individual who likes a challenge, is passionate about our products and is looking to grow in a role with high visibility within the Wabtec Corporation.

Remote work will be considered, but relocation is preferred.
Bilingual (English/French), both written and spoken. Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently based in Quebec to enable communication, as needed, with colleagues and suppliers in Quebec. French language training is offered to any permanent employee in Quebec who does not have sufficient knowledge of French.
Wabtec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Canada for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background check.
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $95800-127000 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include annual bonus, if eligible.
