As the Global Treasury Director, you will be responsible for supervising the Treasury team, managing liquidity, and minimizing overall debt. You will execute all financing and treasury closing activities related to acquisitions. You will produce banking position reports, calculate restrictive clauses, and oversee debt repayment, including interest and dividends. Additionally, you will be responsible for producing monthly and quarterly internal reports on treasury activities, including analysis of borrowings, liquidity, and financing activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Produce short- and long-term cash flow forecasts, including currency positions, borrowing needs, and available investment funds ;
- Produce accounting and tax provisions ;
- Implement new technologies, banking products, or services to optimize the treasury cycle process ;
- Responsible for implementing controls, policies, and internal procedures supporting treasury activities ;
- Manage relationships with banking and financial institutions ;
- Responsible for negotiating banking fees and service charges with banking institutions ;
- Manage key compliance requirements (i ;e ;, restrictive clauses, debt securities payments, guarantee requirements) ;
- Identify risks and propose strategies to mitigate currency and interest rate risks.
REQUIREMENTS - CFA Certification ;
- Between 5 and 10 years of experience in a similar role within an organization with multiple business units ;
- Ability to handle rapid growth, both organic and through acquisition ;
- Ability to work with international management teams and external relationships to manage currency exposures at the enterprise level ;
- Knowledge of currency transactions and internal exposures associated with global companies ;
- Understanding of regulations and standards related to derivatives and hedging, with the ability to conduct complex analyses and modeling ;
- Familiarity with and use of integrated management software similar to Sage 300 as well as treasury software such as Kyriba and others ;
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in French and English ;
- This role involves interaction with clients and internal and external partners on a national and global scale; therefore, professional proficiency in English is a requirement for this role.
