GOMACO Slip Form Operator - Concrete

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking for a skilled and experienced Gomaco Operator to join our CONCRETE DIVISION.

This is a full time seasonal position.

Gomaco Operator’s primary duties will include but are not limited to:

• Gomaco operators are responsible for operation of gomaco including (but not limited to) trimming base to grade, placing gravel for walks, placing soil cement for curbs, pouring various concrete structures and cleaning the machine.
• Operators will work with the crew foreman and the concrete superintendent to plan activity for the day and the site.
• Operator must have knowledge of the structures being poured as well as their relation to the survey hubs. Operators are responsible for daily maintenance to machines and ensuring all defects are reported.

• Valid Class 5 Driver's license
• Previous experience operating a Gomaco
• Strong knowledge of concrete materials, techniques, and equipment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Pay Scale $25 - $38
